LYNC - LIVE @ KSPC, 1993
from wikipedia, i'm lazy:
'Lync was a 1990's indie rock band from Olympia, Washington.
Formed in 1992, Lync was composed of vocalist/guitarist Sam Jayne, bassist/vocalist James Bertram and drummer Dave Schneider. Lync's distinctive sound of distortion, cryptic lyrics, and irregular tuning created a chaotic, visceral sound which drew comparisons to Fugazi, Unwound, Hush Harbor, The Fall, and Drive Like Jehu.
The band went on to release singles on Magic Pail, Candy Ass, Landspeed, and K Records. Jayne and Bertram played on Beck's album One Foot In The Grave in 1994, right before releasing Lync's one full-length album on K, These Are Not Fall Colors. Lync then disbanded in late 1994.
In 1997, Troubleman Unlimited and K collected the band's singles and unreleased tracks and released them on one compact disc, Remembering The Fireballs (Part 8).
After disbanding, Jayne and Schneider played in the more pop-oriented Love as Laughter; Bertram plays regularly with Red Stars Theory and 764-HERO, and has played with Beck, Built to Spill, and Satisfact.'
so. this is a 7 song radio show they played in 1993 on kscp, never released. please note that the 6th song (refered to as 'unknown title') i believe is unreleased; or at least, i cannot figure it what it is. if anyone knows, please write.
EDIT: SOMEONE NOTED THAT 1 SONG WASN'T WORKING FROM THE ORIGINAL LINK. AS OF 12/01/09, THERE IS A NEW LINK POSTED WITH ALL WORKING TRACKS.
enjoy:

CALL ME LIGHTNING SINGLE!
thrilled to announce i will be doing a call me lightning single sometime in the future. no more details yet, but i will say that very honestly this band is the reason i started this label - to do records with my friends/favorite bands i believe deserve more attention/vinyl. i have heard call me lightning's new full length, and it is great -- can't wait to have more songs by them!
PLAIN DEALERS
i'm thrilled to anounce that i'll be doing a single with the band plain dealers, found here. the band is mike and marty, both formally of thunderbirds are now!, as well as two other people i don't know who were also in bands. go read yourself. plain dealers are a total nod to the, uh, sounds of 'emo yore' ; rites of spring, fuel, etc etc. i'm too excited. a live song of theirs can also be heard on the twentyfive diamonds myspace page, found here.. take a listen!

THE INFINITY DIVE - FINAL SEVEN INCH
okay, this one will be a bit biased because i sang in this band. however; i will say that this record (as well as the song we released on the ape records horror movie comp.) is by far and large my favorite thing we released. it never had a proper name, though it was often refered to as the 'moment of impact' 7". i believe we already knew we were going to break up before we recorded this record, and at least on my part, it showed -- the lyrics, as well as the artwork, were totally half-assed; in fact, i believe the last song didn't even have real lyrics in parts.
anyhow. this band was often compared to heroin, born against, swing kids, that kind of thing. to this day my friend steven is convinced he's going to put out a discography for this band, and to this day i tell him again and again, 'no way'. link:

THE KHAYEMBII COMMUNIQUE - RECORDED DISCOGRAPHY
great "screamo" band from minneapolis circa 98, 99. very reminicent of the band don martin 3, or perhaps the french band fingerprint. this includes their 4 song 7" and the 4 songs from their split with the vida blue (later named ten grand), both of which were released on the blood of the young records and are both long out of print. link:
