AN UPDATE, OF SORTS:
been a bit, here's some info:
25D 003 - everyone asked about you 'let's be enemies' lp. caught wind from the band that the art is supposed to be completed by the end of this weekend -- when this happens, i'll being going straight to the printers and this baby will finally be out. 300 copies pressed, all on colored vinyl -- there was a pre-order edition that included a DVD that is already sold out, but standard copies will be available very soon through the 25 DIAMONDS store as well as through various distributors to be named soon.
25D 004 - golden torso 4 song 7". this one is all set to go for the most part - just waiting for the inserts and download codes to show up in the mail, which should be any day now? 300 copies pressed - 250 on colored vinyl, 25 copies on black vinyl with alternate covers exclusively for mail order, and another 25 copies on black that the band sold out of during the tesco fest. copies will be available through the store and various distributors soon.
25D 005 - optional body 2 song 7". so excited this one is finally happening! currently at the plant, and expecting test pressings in the next few weeks. here's some shit i wrote about it elsewhere:

Optional Body is made up of Sonny Kay (Year Future, The VSS, Angel Hair, etc.), Rockey Crane (Year Future, Dead And Gone, Some Girls, etc.), Russell White (Camera Obscura, Spacehorse, Champagne Kiss, etc.) and Alan Rosetti (Vietnam, The Icarus Line, etc.). Pressed in an edition of 300 copies, with 250 on colored vinyl and 50 on black vinyl for band and mail order only. Expected release date is January 2013.

25D 003 - EVERYONE ASKED ABOUT YOU 'LET'S BE ENEMIES' INDIEGOGO CAMPAIGN:
So I am putting out the Everyone Asked About You LP... 13 years after it was recorded. It is already at the plant, and is being pressed in an edition of 300 copies, all on colored vinyl with screened, hand numbered covers.
I decided to launch a crowd funding campaign on Indiegogo for this release; essentially I am treating it as a glorified pre-order, with some extra perks along the way... basically anyone who contributes any money at all will have their name listed in thanks in an insert to be included with every copy of the LP; there is also a live DVD being thrown into the mix, exclusive to purchases on Indiegogo - a full 27 minute set by Everyone Asked About You at the 1999 More Than Music Fest in Columbus, OH. (the only known existing live footage of the band), as well as the ability to buy both a copy of the LP along with a test pressing of it, limited to 20 copies.
The main thing I am hoping to push though is the ability to pre-order a copy of the LP - this option costs $20.00, which I realize may sound a little steep, but it includes your name in thanks in the insert, a copy of the DVD and includes postage within the United States (those in other countries will have to pay a little extra to cover shipping costs). Keep in mind this record is limited to 300 copies and isn't cheap to make.

TEENAGE MOODS MADE A VIDEO FOR THEIR SONG 'WORLD BOUQUET' FROM THEIR 'MOOD RING' LP -- IT'S CUTE, WATCH IT:

Mood Ring: LP
Excellent! After hearing their self-titled 7” from a year back, I was hoping they would put out more music. This does not disappoint. If you like the single, you’ll like this. If you haven’t heard Teenage Moods yet, then you need to. Stylistically along the lines of late-‘80s, early-‘90s indie noise pop. There’s distortion with melody. The comparison to Vaselines still stands, then there’s some stuff like Dinosaur Jr, and Pixies buried in the music, but these guys inject enough of their own personality into the sound. The guitars are, at times, jangly, then abrasive and distorted, then there’s the bass that is right up there in the mix, which gives the songs more lift. I can not get “Yellow War” out of my head to save my life. But the songs that I really like are “Our Little Dirt” (great song!), “World Bouquet,” and “No Place for a Tiger.” Quality listening. –Matt Average

From the first note struck, I was pulled in to this record to the very end. A mix of shoegazer with garage maybe? A layer of distortion hovers above both songs and there’s a strong melody running through the music that is undeniable. “I Run This” is a near-perfect pop song of the second decade of this f’d up millennium. There’s a lot of mood in the sound, from the guitar tone, and then how the vocals come in, and the rest of the instruments fall in and slowly build in tempo. There’s a great riff that comes in around mid-song that adds to the forlorn feeling. It gets a little Sonic Youth-ish towards the end. Not a bad thing in my book, as I hold SY at the tippy top of the A-list. Love this song! Can’t stop playing it. The song on the A-side, “Next Summer,” is of a different mood. It’s more upbeat, forceful and rocking. The rhythm is near herky jerky, and has a punk edge with the raw solo and razor sharp guitar sound. –Matt Average
